Text alerts.

Tigers FC texts its own registered players about the games they are picked for. Nobody else is texted, and there is no marketing, no sponsorship and nothing for sale in these messages.

What we send

Three things, all about football. Are you in? — a request for your answer to a fixture, a few days before it. Game day — kick-off time, the ground and which kit, the day before. Kit — a reminder when you owe the club for a shirt you have been given.

You can reply YES, NO or MAYBE to an “Are you in?” text and your answer goes straight onto the team sheet.

How you opt in

Only by asking for it yourself, while signed in to the member portal. On your Alerts screen you type your own mobile number, we text you a six-digit code, and you type that code back to prove the number is yours. Nothing is ever sent to a number that has not been confirmed that way, and the club cannot add a number on your behalf. You can remove your number on the same screen whenever you like.

How often, and what it costs

Message frequency varies with the fixture list: expect about two or three messages in a week with a game in it, and none at all out of season. Message and data rates may apply. Tigers FC charges you nothing for them.

Stopping them

Reply STOP to unsubscribe and the texts end immediately. Reply HELP for help, or send us a message. Turning texts off does not take you off the team — the club will still reach you by email and in the portal, because a player has to be told when he is playing.

Your number

Your mobile number is used to send you these messages and for nothing else. It is not sold, rented or shared with third parties, and it is not used for advertising. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
